The Bronco will be celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2026 with the new 60th Anniversary Package. This package pays homage to the original 1966 Bronco and is available on the higher-end trims, starting with Outer Banks.
This package features several specialized logos and graphics relating to the year 1966 and the name Bronco in several locations around the vehicle. The original color of Wimbledon White is a striking feature of this package, especially offset by the Vermillion Red touches. Exterior features include specialized tires and running boards. Inside will be several extra special touches, including Ebony leather upholstery on the seat outers and bolsters offset by Alpine leather inserts embossed with the 60th Anniversary logo.
The 2026 Bronco will have two engine options available. A 300-horsepower turbocharged 2.3L four-cylinder and a twin-turbocharged 2.7L V6 that gets 330 horsepower. A ten-speed automatic transmission comes standard, with a seven-speed manual transmission available on the V6.
Created with off-road in mind, but very apt on the pavement, the Bronco has a four-wheel drive system that must be engaged and disengaged depending on the terrain. It has an independent front suspension and well-calibrated steering that makes it handle well either on the highway or on the trail (or more to the point, off the trail).
Though the EPA hasn’t released information for 2026, we expect it will be similar to last year, with the Bronco with an automatic transmission and four-cylinder engine getting 18 mpg city and 22 mpg highway. Using the manual transmission lowered the highway rating by 1 mpg.
It’s expected that the trims from 2025 will carry over, though prices may increase slightly. The current available trims are: Base, Big Bend, Free Wheeling, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Heritage Edition. Pricing is estimated to range between $42,000 and $55,000, depending on trims and options.
The Bronco is available in either a two- or four-door option. The cargo space ranges from 38.3 to 83 cubic feet. Both the front and back rows have USB ports to keep everyone connected. Both the infotainment touchscreen and digital gauge are twelve inches. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is included. The seven-speaker Band & Olufsen sound system is standard, with a premium twelve-speaker upgrade available.
The Bronco has long been a good time on wheels, and 2026 will continue that tradition. The 60th Anniversary Package adds special touches to this classic off-road SUV.
